Since it provides power to the fuel the fuel level sender is a critical K part.

2 Valve Ks (K75 and non-4V K100s): The fuel pump only runs when the engine is turning - when stating or running.

4 Valve Ks (K100RS4V, K1 and K1100): The fuel pump primes the fuel system for a sceond or two when you turn the key on.

Two Generations:

There are two generations of the FLS. The part number is stamped on the square part of the FLS.

Early (Part 62161459565): Used in K bikes made up to Jan-93.

Late (Part 62162305558): Used in K bikes produced from Jan-93 on.

Fuel Pump Power:

The fuel pump is powered by the green/white wire from the main wiring harness and grounded by the brown wire.

One issue that K bikes can have is intermittent power
